What does it cost to use Holihopper?+
Holihopper's core travel planner is free to use. You can optionally upgrade individual travelboards for $6 each to unlock premium features such as extra AI smart suggestions, unlimited distance calculator, advanced search, file uploads and more. There are no subscriptions or recurring fees.
What are the different sharing options?+
When you create a travelboard, you get 3 links to share with your travel companions. One link is for editing, one for viewing only and one for public consumption, where personal notes are hidden. You can share the link to your travelboard with anyone, and they can view it without logging in.
Can I delete a travelboard I don't need?+
Yes, you can delete a travelboard by clicking the gear icon and select the delete board option
If there is no login, how can I see my previous trips?+
You can remember or store your share links somewhere safe, so you can go back and visit or edit them, however we recommend you signup using your e-mail, that way you can access all your travelboards from one place. You don't need to remember a password as we will send you a link to login to your account.
Can other people edit my travelboard?+
Yes. Anyone with the edit link can make changes to the travelboard. If you only want someone to view the trip, share the view-only link instead.
Do my travel companions need an account?+
No. People can view or edit a shared travelboard through the link you send them without creating an account.
What happens when I upgrade a travelboard?+
Upgrading unlocks premium features for that specific travelboard, including more AI smart suggestions, unlimited distance calculator, advanced search, file uploads and more. The upgrade is a one-time payment, not a subscription.
Can I use Holihopper on my phone?+
Yes. Holihopper works in the browser on mobile, tablet and desktop, so you can plan and check your trip while travelling.
Can I keep private notes hidden from others?+
Yes. Use the public sharing link when you want to share a cleaner version of the travelboard where personal notes are hidden.
